Well, I figure that those of you who check this deserve an update...

The big news is that the programs I am applying to for my PhD are finally making decisions so far I'm 1 for 1 as I got an acceptance letter from the University of Iowa. I am very excited about this letter, and I think I may frame it. That just made my semester and now I gotta start looking forward to moving out on my own again. The program offers a paid visitation in about a month and I will surely take them up on that, even though I have midterms exams that next week... oh well, c'est la vie.

Things are going well between cathy and I, and I still have my fingers crossed for her dental apps to come through for her. It would be great to get into schools in teh same city for once. Either way, she's in Disney with her family right now... and I'm bored and lonely.

physics makes my head hurt

I don't really have much more than that to add...

instead I will focus on grad apps. I'm not so much having problems filling in the blanks, but instead I am concerned about my statements etc.... I wish there was someone at the college who could sample read through my stuff and tell me yes this is what we want, or no rewrite it like this. ok thats all you get from me here

You've Clammored for it and now here it is...

the newest entry into my blog, and it's boring. Today I tried to do physics... the keyword is tried. I understand what I'm doing but my answers don't match the book... so I guess the bad news is I don't understand what I'm doing. In addition my goal tonight was to get to work on grad school apps and the like, well I started and I'm doing alright at them only I am terrified of filling these things out wrong as they are the key to my future, so if any of you have any guidance or a website to help me know what to say I'd appreciate it. also I'd like to get somework on my personal statement done... but I have a million reasons why I want to go on to do a phd, and need help picking the right one to best illustrate my point.

also I got two wrong numbers last night even with my new phone number... yeah it sucks I know, but they were just honest people looking for their friend who used to have the number, and not credit card/debt collection people (who, believe me, are not honest people... heck I'd barely consider them human), so I can rest assured that my number has been stricken from their phone books!!! and besides I don't mind getting a phone call every once in a while... hint hint!!!
